Central California Veterinary Specialty Center was opened in July of 2006 by a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (Dr. Roger W. Gfeller). The team at Central California Veterinary Specialty Center recognizes and understands the intense love we Central Californians have for our pets. This bond is why we have all joined together to provide 24 hour medical and surgical care for pets. Our hospital is far from fancy because we are not into expensive trappings. Instead, we prefer to invest in equipment and personnel that will give us the best capability to care for sick and injured pets. There is no veterinary hospital in the San Joaquin Valley that has the type and quality of equipment that we have. We invested in the equipment to allow us be the best place your pet can be in time of need.
Our emergency and critical care team of doctors collectively have several decades of experience. Many of our doctors have completed residency training in the field of Emergency and Critical Care like the founder, Dr. Gfeller. Dr. George White is our specialist in emergency and critical care; his experience and knowledge allows us to perform advanced techniques to help save lives as well as provide some specialty surgeries.
Our nurses and technicians work very hard to stay at the pinnacle of training in the care of our animal patients. They realize that they may be called upon at any time to provide the technological skill to save a pet's life, and at the same time, be human enough to feel for the pet and its loved ones. Our entire staff is committed to helping everyone who is affected by their pet's circumstances.
